Deal: WB To Proceed With Release of “Watchmen”

The unprecedented legal dispute that  could have delayed or prevented the release of a movie that had already been completely finished has been settled.  Fox agreed to a percentage of the box office revenue the WB-made “Watchmen” makes as well as a revenue cut from any sequels or spin-offs in exchange for letting WB release the picture, as planned, on March 6.

According to all the buzz, this is supposed to be, like, the greatest comic book graphic novel that has ever  been ever made ever.  I’m completely confident the movie will live up to all this hype and, if not, at least there are ripped, naked, blue dudes.  😉

The Daily Beast has background on the film and Variety has the details of the of the settlement.
